Animal Adoption

The Animals We Help

Could you offer one of our special animals the knowledgeable, expert home they truly deserve? 🐾

From time to time we have animals suitable for adoption — these are able to thrive in a new home, unlike our permanent sanctuary residents who stay here long‑term. We only place them with dedicated, suitable homes within our West Midlands coverage area (40–50 mile radius only). We really want these wonderful creatures to find loving forever homes, but only where their complex needs will be fully met.

Things you need to know

Important facts to know first

  • We care for mainly exotic animals plus some unusual native species — these are absolutely not pets for beginners! They need very specific heating, housing, diet and care routines. We look for experienced keepers who already understand these requirements and can maintain high standards of welfare.
  • Before you get in touch: please note we will ask to see proof of your housing and set up, and check that you follow all recommended care protocols. You must have proven experience keeping exotic animals — unfortunately we cannot rehome them to anyone without this background.
  • No domestic pets are available here; if you are looking for cats, dogs or similar, please contact your local shelter or RSPCA.

Adoption Information

Adoption Fees apply. Costing available on request.

Strict Criteria:

* Must be an experienced keeper with a proven history

* Must have correct housing, heating and lighting already set up and working

* Home visit / video inspection will be carried out

* Proof of ID and address is required

* Adoption contract must be signed — animals cannot be sold, bred or rehomed without consent

Please note: No exceptions for beginners — these are specialist animals, not general pets.

We reserve the right to refuse adoption to anyone at our sole discretion to protect animal welfare. All animals are fully health‑checked, behaviourally assessed, and come with detailed care guidance — plus we offer ongoing support and advice for as long as they are in their new home. We never place an animal where its welfare could be compromised; suitability, experience and location always come first.
